- Laura Ingalls Wilder – published her first novel at age 65
- Peter Mark Roget – published the first Roget’s Thesaurus at age 70
- Harriet Doerr – National Book Award winner was first published at age 74
- Norman Maclean – published his only novel A River Runs Through It at age 74
- Grandma Moses – painted her first canvas at age 76
These examples make it clear that age is no barrier to starting a business or enjoying success later in life. And think of the thousands of others over 50 who were successful on a smaller scale without the fame. So, yes you CAN do this!
